Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid Builds up in your muscles between 40-60 seconds of exercise which means you will no longer be able to train at the same pace.Glycogen is stored in our muscles. Glycolysis takes place which breaks down glycogen. This releases molecules which enables atp-pc system to keep being produced.

ATP-PC System

The ATP-PC system is an energy system in the body that releases a short burst of optimum energy for 10 seconds, the ATP-PC system breaks down after the 10 seconds. When the energy breaks some of it is used to reform the atp system whereas some of it is used to give you energy. Here are some sports that use this are:
